Sailboat Wood Stove How Can I Darken (stain) Wood Over Top Of Epoxy?

How can I darken (stain) wood over top of epoxy? - sailboat wood stove

The model of a sailboat, I covered the whole city into a thin layer of marine epoxy. How do I darken the look of wood? Regular patch will not work because the epoxy blocks penetration of the stain into the wood. Then it got dark, then I apply Minwax urethane. Thank you.

Sand bare wood and start over. Stain first. Or leave it as if the good with the color and do not want to sand.

You must save a floor sander from the hardware or Lowes, Home Depot to rent. The wood and make sure when you do it yourself. Hold the Sander floor.when regularly and systematically in the floods which put the stain on the airwaves, it shows. I wish you luck, because you can do to save much money.

dry overwhelm any boat DK walnut or any color and can be brought to light.
remains in the dark, the light is obscured.
I'm not honestly sure why you put a layer of epoxy anyway, epoxy in the joints to keep things.
always in the future development of the timber with the appropriate color before the meeting

Get a whiff of the epoxy, put another layer of epoxy, which has stained. System epoxy-3 sells dyes. Or try the Krylon paint, a mixture of the resin and some Krylon spray only on the desired color. Then apply another layer of colored epoxy.

You can change the color of the wood resin. It is a seal to protect the wood from the elements, while the wood protects against stains. You must remove the epoxy, prepare, dye and timber seals and new epoxy application. Polyurethane coating is usually decorated and I doubt that it is suitable for boats, but if you follow epoxy, not instead of trying to surprise me either.
